This page contains a variety of images representing a sampling of my work that I consider to be "abstract," at least in some respect. Although different people have different interpretations of the meaning and application of "abstract," these are the pieces that I believe fall into this category for one reason or another.

As you will see, some of these images are abstract due simply to the way in which they were shot - for instance the lighting or the textures involved, the focus or distance (extreme closeness, for instance) may make the subjects abstract and difficult to discern. Others were shot through glass, causing distortion to the subject. Finally, still others were made more abstract through photo processing and the application of filters after-the-fact.
